For those who have time:
Visit Hungary in five days
We offer this program for those
who, on the one hand, do not want to spend all their time visiting monuments
and sights of interests in Budapest and on the other hand really would like to
take their time to re-balance their physical and mental well-being. Six days
are enough to get a chance to see the most magnificent sights in Hungary, to
have a good understanding about the turbulent history of Hungary and to get a feeling
for the local culture.
This is only a proposal if you really need a program for how to spend your time in Hungary:
1st day, arrival in the evening
2nd day, sightseeing in Buda (Gellért hill, Cave Church, Buda Castle) and to Margaret Island
3rd day, trip to Eger (Cathedral, sightseeing, castle, wine tasting in the valley of Szépasszony)
4th day, sightseeing in Pest (St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Parliament, Heroes’ Square, House of Terror)
5th day, a day at Széchenyi Bath & Spa (thermal bath, swimming pool, sauna etc.)
6th day, depart
Our Retreat House has around 50 places. Each room has one or two single beds with private baths. Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) can be ordered and adjusted to your schedule. We give opportunity for spiritual direction, holy mass and confessions according to personal or communal wishes.
